Don’t aim for triple 20
In darts, the highest score is triple 20.
Bullseye.
Tiny target.
In the centre.
Big reward.
Professional players aim there.
But for ordinary humans, especially after one drink, this is often a terrible idea.
Miss slightly and you may hit 1.
Which is not ideal.
If you are not a professional, you may be better aiming at the safer part of the board: 19, 16, 8.
Downleft part of the dashboard.
Less heroic.
More points.
This is useful because many real-world decisions are more like darts than archery.
The goal is not always to hit perfection.
The goal is to avoid disaster.
Brands work like this too.
People do not buy McDonald’s because it is the best restaurant in the world.
They buy it because it is very good at not being terrible.
The kids will eat it.
You will not be robbed.
No one gets ill.
Underrated business model.
Legal knows this deeply.
The business does not always need the most elegant answer.
It needs a safe, workable answer that does not accidentally hit 1.
The best GCs understand proportion.
They know when a matter needs the full force of a top-tier law firm.
And when that would be like wearing a tuxedo to fix a tap.
At Ambar, we help GCs match the work to the right level of judgment.
Senior, practical legal capacity for the space between internal teams and traditional firms.
So Legal can avoid catastrophe without over-engineering every throw.
Because not every matter needs triple 20.
Sometimes the smartest move is just not hitting 1.
Stay cool,

It’s not from stocks, private equity, or real estate… it’s from contemporary and post war art. Crazy, right?
With Masterworks, you don’t need to be a BILLIONAIRE to invest in multi-million dollar art anymore.
Historically, the segment overall has had attractive appreciation and low correlation to stocks.*
Masterworks targets works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, identifying what they believe to have significant long-term appreciation potential, not just at the artist level but at the level of individual artworks.
As one of the largest players in the art market, with $1.3 billion invested over 500 artworks, they pass critical advantages through to their 70,000+ members to add art to their portfolios strategically.
